Emma Finch

Small Animal Marketing Executive

Summary

Emma is an advocate for dog health, welfare and activities with 12 years of experience of non-clinical roles in veterinary practice.

Education

After studying English literature at the University of Wolverhampton, Emma worked in administrative roles in the insurance industry and the NHS before joining the veterinary world as a practice administrator at Severn Edge Veterinary Group. She is now a Small Animal Marketing Executive for CVS Group and part of the non-clinical content creator team.

Experience

With her Siberian huskies she competed in sled dog racing for Team GB at the European Canicross Federation Championship and the International Federation of Sleddog Sports European Dryland Championship. She is now an instructor in dog agility, teaching weekly at a club, and competes all over the UK at championship level. She particularly enjoys the challenges of training and competing in agility with less common breeds to the sport – currently a Schipperke and a German Shepherd. She also exhibits at championship dog shows, having won or placed at Crufts annually since 2020, and serves on the committee of the Schipperke Club (UK).

Emma enjoys using her experience of working in practice with colleagues, clients and their pets, and her knowledge from the dog world, to create educational and lifestyle content that contributes to the health and welfare of pets - and the people that care for them.
